What happens if i lose the database?
The database is stored on your computer, so like any other file or folder that you keep on your hard drive, you will need to back it up to ensure that it is 100% safe. You can do this by saving the database as a file to a portable hard drive, USB stick or using such servers as ICloud and Google Drive- which are also password protected for your own accounts, so the content remains secure to yourself.
How do i upload a photo?
Photos can be copied from Paint and pasted directly into the database. Ensure you resize them so that it is a smaller photo that you are putting in, so that it does not take up too much space.

Can my parents access the database
No! The database does not go online, so the only way to view and edit information is to open it on your PC.
You are able to print the different forms and reports in the database, and in doing so, also have the option to save as a PDF and e-mail direct to your parents.
This means that you are linking to parents directly, and not with an expectation of them having to familiarise and navigate their way through a website to find the information on their child.
Many of our customers like to print certain aspects off in order to remain paper based with their learning journeys, so in this way it is flexible.

It is quite expensive, is there a cheaper option?
You are able to purchase the core database, which includes assessment and tracking features, child data collection features and an invoice feature.
At a later date, if you would like to purchase additional features that you missed out of the original build, then you can buy these on an ad hoc basis.
If there are additional features that you would like your database to do, then you can also ask Jean using the query form below.
This means that your database is adaptable and as changeable as your business, and can be moulded and built to your specific business needs.

Why doesn't any content show up in my form?
If you are in one of your reports and click to print and nothing comes up, it means that there is data or information missing from somewhere. The most common issue with this is the parent information. Each form that is produced needs to know certain bits of information, the main one being who it is for. If you click on the important information (green sub menu).
If you have entered the child's carer information; ensure that this is set to priority number 1, as this is the information that the other features need.

If you do this and then go back to the form that you were trying to print, it should now show up ready to print.
I have lost a child's main form, where has it gone?
When you open this form, you have the option to de-select the child. This will bring the child's main form back into the database.
If the child is not in there, then you may have accidentally deleted them.
This is not easy to do as a warning would have popped up for you to confirm that you are wanting to delete the record.
If this has happened then you would have to go back to a previously saved database to use. This is why it is very important to save a copy of your database regularly, so that if you do need to revert back to an old database you do not lose very much information at all.

Total does not show in Main Invoice
Have a look at each of the boxes that are in the part that you are using, usually this is when you are using one of the tabs. The database needs information, and if a box is blank, it is still waiting for information. So if there is no value to be entered into certain boxes, then enter 0.00.
