59. Next Step Progression Log
This enables you to list the 'next steps' that you feel will benefit the development of a child, which may not link to a specific criteria statement.
During day to day 'play' and observations that you make, you may pick up on an aspect that a child may still need to do/ master, before being able to tick an actual criteria statement as met, or it may be something that falls in between 2 statements- which is a milestone in itself.
You can note these in this feature, with a simple link to the area of development. There is space to elaborate on what it is that you want them to do, or track their progress of mastering this/ make an observation when the child can do this, as well as add a photo if you wish.
This can be printed to share with parents, for them to also make notes in.
You can print those that they have then met, by ticking the button next to those that the child has met. Or print those that are still to be met, so that you can annotate on paper.
You can view these 'next steps' for all of the children, which can also act as your planning; along with all further focus. Combining the next steps of criteria statements, and next steps specific to your children.
