53. Progress Review (coloured Grid)
This is a form that you can produce for each child in your care. Their information and photo from the main form will be imported automatically, so that you can see which one belongs to whom.
The orange squares show the areas where there are no statements for a child to meet. Each time you do an assessment on a child, you can highlight the boxes that they are currently meeting some criteria from the Early Years Outcomes in. When a child has met, and is secure within, an area of the curriculum for a particular age, you can put the date in the box to show that it has been met. You are able to colour code this form within the database- either for your own records, or to print to include in the child's learning journey. You are able to enter text to record progress or the date of the assessment, you can also enter different colours to track the progress of the child within the different ages and areas of the curriculum You can also use the free text box, to annotate the boxes that you have coloured in. Explaining the colour choice, state whether they are emerging- secure, or enter the date of assessment/ completion of this area and age range. This gives a fantastic overview for both you and their parents, especially if you include this in their learning journeys. |
